Prenatal Yoga 1-2-3 at Eight Treasures Yoga is a three-part course on the education of pregnancy and birth, for pregnant women, their partners and helpers, as well as aspiring prenatal yoga teachers. Participants who attend all three modules are qualified to be assessed as apprentice prenatal yoga teachers at Eight Treasures Yoga.

Prenatal Yoga 1 consists of a series of 90-minute Prenatal Yoga class where we learn to embrace ourselves during the most transformative period of our lives. There will be seated meditation, fun and invigorating asana practice, and relaxation. We focus on different themes relating to pregnancy and birth in every class, preparing our body and mind for a beautiful birthing experience. The class is designed to help us eliminate our fear around birth and find power within ourselves during pregnancy, birth and for the rest of our life as a woman. Prenatal Yoga 1 is suitable for pregnant women, their partners, and those who are planning to become parents.

Prenatal Yoga 2 consists of seminars and discussions on the physical, emotional and mental aspects of pregnancy and birth. We address issues such as "Where do our fears around birth come from and how do we eliminate them?" "How do we create the optimal environment for a happy pregnancy and smooth birth?" "How do we handle the various emotional and mental challenges that happen during pregnancy and birth?" "Can we find enormous power through our pregnancy and birth and carry that on for the rest of our life?" In this part of our course, we encourage conversation among our community, where all the participants will support each other in their journey of finding power in pregnancy and birth. Prenatal Yoga 2 is not only for pregnant women and those who are preparing to become parents, but also for helpers of pregnant women. It is important for pregnant women to have a network of people who understand what they are going through and support their journey of empowerment.

Prenatal Yoga 3 consists of workshops that teach You how to share prenatal yoga with pregnant women. We will analyze the meditations and asana sequences from Prenatal Yoga 1. We will also learn how to adapt a regular yoga class for pregnant women, and how to create a welcoming and supportive environment in your class. Prenatal Yoga 3 is primarily designed for aspiring Prenatal Yoga teachers. But pregnant women and their helpers are also welcome, because knowing how prenatal yoga works allows it to work even better for yourselves as well as others that You share this practice with. This module must be taken in combination with the other two modules.

Tuition:
Prenatal Yoga 1: 2000 NOK; early bird: 1800 NOK; drop-in: 280 NOK
Prenatal Yoga 2: 1800 NOK; early bird: 1600 NOK; drop-in: 250 NOK
Prenatal Yoga 1-2-3: 6800 NOK; early bird: 5800 NOK.
